CONSERVATIVE, COMMON-SENSE VALUES; STRONG FOUNDATION Jason Lamb was raised in Mexico, Missouri where he learned straight-forward, conservative, common-sense values: always do the right thing; be tough, but fair; and stand up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. He began practicing law by helping local folks navigate everyday legal issues, such as setting up a small business, writing a will or getting through a divorce. He’s proud of this strong foundation.
FROM LOCAL COURTHOUSES TO JEFFERSON CITY - SEEKING JUSTICE AND PROTECTING THE PUBLIC Jason answered the call to service, and stepped up to do his part to protect public safety when the voters of Audrain County chose him to be their prosecuting attorney. Over the years, he proudly sought justice in thousands of cases, including being named special prosecutor for Montgomery County and Warren County. Jason was twice named Prosecutor of the Year, for his outstanding work in combating both arson and driving while intoxicated. Others took note, and he was asked to lead Missouri’s prosecutors as their Executive Director and to be their voice in the halls of government in Jefferson City. Jason has led efforts to improve the criminal justice system, protect crime victims’ rights, modernize the state’s criminal code, and strengthen the laws that protect our most vulnerable citizens – our children.
STANDING UP FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE & DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTION Jason values integrity, and knows that judges’ actions must promote faith and confidence in our justice system. He believes that all people should be treated as equals under the law, that there should be no special treatment, and that everyone should be treated fairly. Jason is proud of his conservative record of upholding his oath to defend the Constitution and protecting our most cherished, fundamental rights. He’s going to keep standing up for the administration of justice.
